Sage X3 - Add a new left list browser to view product quantity in sale order screen

It might be useful for some of the sale executive to able to view product quantities on hand before place order for their customers in Sale Order screen. You able to do that by adding new left list browser (object) in sale order screen, sale executive could always refer to this browser before creating new sale order base on the available quantities for the product in each of the product site. To achieve this, first, you need to create a new object by linking table to ITMMVT 'Product Site Total' table. Add fields that you want to display in left list browser. You can have the fields added in Selection tab from other table like ITMMASTER and ITMMVT. By linking the table between ITMMVT with ITMMASTER in Environment tab. Once new object (left list browser) has been created, you can add it in sale order window. Don't forget do the global validation and entry transaction validation for each of the sale order entry transaction. You should able to see new left

Sage X3 - Regenerate Syracuse Certificate

There are some of the reasons that you need to regenerate Sage X3 Syracuse certificate, the reasons could be: 1. Expired of certificate 2. Uninstall or re-install of X3 Syracuse 3. Changes of server information 4. Incomplete, corrupted or missing of information in Certificate 5. Changes of password of SageRT (Granted administrator user running X3 services) The possible error below that you encountered below might required regenerate the certificate in order for you able to login Sage X3 again. 1. Cannot read passphrase file. Maybe it has been created under another operating user. 2. Error connect ECONNREFUSED. Here are the steps to regenerate certificate for Syracuse: 1. Sage X3 - Install and configure SMTP in IIS 6 by using gmail account

Install and Configure SMTP in IIS 6 by using GMAIL Account You can use your gmail as relay server to allow email to be sending out from X3 workflow. To enable it, you need to turn on 'Allow less secure apps' in your gmail account setting. In order to use SMTP relay server Windows Server 2012 , you need to enable SMTP server and Telnet Client in Add roles and features wizard. Once SMTP installed, go to IIS6.0 Manager, select the IP Address. Go to Delivery tab, click on outbound security button. Enter your gmail account and password. Tick TLS encrytion.  On same Delivery tab, click on outbound connection button, change the port to 587.  Click on Advance button, change the smart host to smtp.gmail.com. You may reset IIS and start SMTP virtual server once it's done. To use Sage X3 workflow emailing, you have to login X3, set up parameters value, configure workflow rules and user assignment.
